Tattoo Aftercare

• Wash and sanitize hands thoroughly

• Remove plastic wrap gently (no sooner than an hour, no longer than 5 hours)

• Rinse with room temp water (unscented hand soap may be used to help clean)

• Wipe clean with damp paper towel

• Apply a small amount of aftercare ointment (I will provide for you) starting a day or two after the tattoo.

• Keep clean and use adequate amounts of ointment and apply daily.

  DO NOT

• Expose to direct sun

• Swimming/submerging the tattoo

• Re-wrap with plastic (if you use Saniderm/Dermshield please follow the instructions on the packaging)

• Touching with unclean hands

• Picking, scratching, peeling, itching

• Over-applying ointment

• Overly sweating for first 3 days
